Santorini Architecture

The architectural style of Santorini is unique in the Greek islands and the reason for that is that all houses have been build with anti-seismic construction. The churches though keep the traditional Cycladic style with the blue domes. The white is the dominant colour following by the blue and less by the pink and the ochre that is something relatively new in the traditional painting of Greek island houses.
